Catherine Scott DMU AMS Vital Co-Lead, Radiology Across Borders Cathy is an experienced Sonographer in Australia who has over 25 years of ultrasound experience. Cathy currently works as a Chief Sonographer for Lumus Imaging in Sydney and is also involved in Sonographer training through her appointment as a Tutor Sonographer with the Australian Institute of Healthcare Education. Cathy has been actively involved as a Volunteer Sonographer with Radiology Across Borders for many years and has provided in-country training through the VITAL program in Samoa, Fiji and Vietnam. Cathy is a co-leader of the VITAL program and has been instrumental in organizing the RAB virtual VITAL conference in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Cathy is passionate about improving the inequality of healthcare worldwide and is committed to providing Ultrasound education to developing nations through Radiology Across Borders.
