After completing his post-graduate diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound at QUT Grant is now employed as a Senior Cardiac Scientist at Hearts 1st in Queensland. Actively involved in performing contrast echocardiograms and contrast stress echocardiograms since 2009, he was integral to the implementation and creation of protocols to encourage contrast use, image optimisation and improve clinical workflow. Recently Grant was a co-convenor and speaker for the first international Contrast Echo Summit, providing online contrast echo education to a global audience. His clinical role now includes providing high quality education and mentoring to trainee sonographers, cardiology trainees and fellows.
