James came from a Cardiology Nursing background to become a Cardiac Physiologist in 2002.  He gained his DMU Qualification in 2007. James worked at Eastern Health before moving to Monash Health in 2006. He has also worked in the private sector at Eastern Heart Victoria, Melbourne Heart Care and Cardio Vascular Services. James became Lead Sonographer at Monash Heart in 2017. Monash Heart is a multi site department which will also include the new Victorian Heart Hospital opening in 2023. James has been involved in Research, Stress Echo and education in his time, and is looking forward to the challenge of setting up the new Echo department at VHH.
