Julie graduated as a radiographer and specialised in CT before commencing as a clinical sonographer in 1999, working in a variety of hospital and private clinics in both NSW and QLD. She has completed a MMUS and holds AFASA. She has a passion for women’s imaging and clinical education. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of sonographers. She has been training and supervising students and other medical professionals since 2010. She has been a clinical academic at CQUniversity since 2017 and works closely with industry to support sonographer training and maintain open relationship between the university and clinical partners and also holds the position of Sonography Discipline Lead (Student Experience). She continues to work casually within specialised obstetric and women's clinics.
