Pamela Parker is a Consultant Sonographer working in a large teaching hospital in the north of England, UK. Her areas of expertise are general medical, urogenital and prostate imaging including a specialism in contrast enhanced and fusion guided ultrasound. Alongside she is studying for a PhD evaluating the use of US in the assessment of prostate cancer. Pamela is the immediate Past President of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) and has been active in the promotion and development of a career framework for the professional sonographer. Being a keen distance runner and an avid rugby union fan keeps Pamela sane.
