Sara Kingsley
Tweed Coast Vet
Professional Bio
Sara has been working as a vet for 14 years, and about 2 years into graduating was given the opportunity to focus on ultrasound. Her first machine was a Sonosite with a single curvilinear 3-8 MHz probe, with only 3 settings, penetrative, general and high resolution mode.
Since then she has taken a fascination with all things sonographic, and is currently doing ultrasound consultancy work, while still working part time as a general practice vet.
Sara's main focus these days is small animal abdominal ultrasound, although she is currently studying cardiac ultrasound as well. Her broad career has included large animal and exotic pet ultrasound as well, including cattle, horses, sheep, and even chickens!
Dr Sara Fury, GCSAUS, BVSc (Hons), BSci (Biomed), GDDiv,
