Professional Bio
Tracey has been a sonographer for 30 years working and training in general and vascular ultrasound before specializing in obstetrics and gynecology for the majority of her career. Tracey has worked in the public, private and academic sectors and was awarded a PhD from the University of Sydney in 2020 for her work investigating the value of novel first trimester ultrasound appearances in the prediction of adverse maternal and fetal outcomes. She has held various volunteer positions with the ASAR and ASA and was recognised as a Fellow of the ASA in 2018. Over the last three and a half years Tracey has worked as a locum sonographer around Australia spending the majority of that time as part of the team at Dubbo Base Hospital in western NSW. She also helps to mentor sonography students through their research subjects for Central Queensland University.
